Congrats to Ty for being selected as the Head Coach for the 2018 USA Softball Junior Men’s National Team!

Ty McKinney is an experienced player and coach who has a passion for softball.

Ty has over 18 years of national playing experience and over 13 years of different leveled coaching experience.

Ty has played for many nationally ranked teams including the Men’s USA National Team. His coaching experiences include Morehead State University, West Virginia Tech University, Jr Men’s USA National Team, pitching consultant for all four USA National teams, as well as our own coach here at the USA Softball Academy at the HIT Center!

Ty is a dedicated coach and is one of the best in the sport. He has guided and coached many into becoming better players and perfecting their skills.

Peyton was a member of the 2014 and 2016 Junior Men’s national softball team and is from Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.

He has expertise in catching, fielding, and hitting.

He will be available for private lessons for basic skills, as well as, catching and hitting!

Sarah “Bug” is a former Lincoln County High School and Carson-Newman University softball player.

She helped guide Lincoln County to a 2014 AAA WVSSAC State Championship.

She is a .487 hitter who clobbered nine home runs and drove in 61 runs in her LCHS career.

She has earned all-state honors every year since her sophomore season and was an all-tournament selection her sophomore year.

Sarah signed with Carson-Newman University in 2016 and now works with USA Softball Training Academy.
