The Lighten Up program at the HIT Center is a scientifically based weight loss program that is structured from biochemistry, physiology, and thermodynamics. This program allows you to learn the balance of intake, what you eat, and how your body uses it. We do not make you rely on calorie counting but the Laws of Thermodynamics and metabolism.
The HIT Center uses state of the art technology such as the BOD Pod, RMR, and VO2 to create a specific and unique program for you. We also offer nutrition counseling to help you understand the Law of Thermodynamics and how to modify your eating habits. A typical Session is an hour of intensive exercise that is designed to your physiological needs. Each program is crafted to modify a workout around any cardiovascular, pulmonary, or orthopedic concerns. You will not only lose weight but you will become more fit. This program will help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke, or type 2 diabetes.
All of the programs allow you to achieve your goals as well as take your fitness to another level so that you can then compete amongst groups of your peers. Once you have completed your initial goal oriented package, you can either continue with your own personal trainer or you can find new means of motivation in a fitness class filled with people like you who want to achieve a new level of fitness. Each fitness class at the HIT Center is structured around certain client demographics such as age, sport interest, sex, fitness capabilities, etc. Your trainer will help you achieve your initial fitness goals so you can then move on to another level of your training.
