What is VO2 Max?
Maximum oxygen uptake or better known as the VO2 Max is the standard test of cardiovascular, pulmonary, and muscle cell fitness. The test ultimately determines the maximum amount of oxygen your muscles can utilize.
How does it work?
The VO2 max is a graded exercise test on a treadmill or bike. The test starts off at an easy intensity then is increased in 1 minute stages until a maximal intensity is achieved.
